- Ensure all business development activities align with Ethiopost's strategic goals, policies, and revenue targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive market expansion, partnerships, and service innovation.
- Oversee all Ethiopost business portfolios, smooth relation with clients and operational execution
- Prepare and present performance reports, business proposals, and financial forecasts to senior management.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in government service, agency service, logistics, financial services, e-commerce, and retail.
- Conduct market research to analyze trends, customer demands, and competitor strategies
- Identify and build partnerships with new business streams, government organizations financial institutions, e-commerce platforms, and logistics providers, .
- Develop MoUs (Memorandums of Understanding) , service level agreements and contracts to formalize strategic alliances.
- Develop strategies to diversify Ethiopost's revenue streams beyond postal services.
- Spearhead the development of new services such as government services, agency services, ecommerce ,retail, digital payments, bulk payment processing, and logistics solutions.
- Track and analyze business performance metrics, revenue trends, and customer insights.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on business development activities and revenue generation.
- Degree in marketing, sales with 4 years of experience
