East Africa Bottling S.C., a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa and the exclusive bottler of Coca-Cola products in Ethiopia, is pleased to invite passionate and qualified candidates to apply for the position of Route to Market Specialist. The successful candidate will report directly to the Country Lead – Route to Market.The Route to Market Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing distribution strategies to ensure products are available at the right place, right time, and right cost. The role focuses on strengthening market penetration, improving execution excellence across trade channels, and building strong partnerships with distributors and retailers to drive sales growth and maximize customer satisfaction.
Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesApply RTM models to allocate resources and schedule customer visits efficiently.Evaluate and optimize RTM setups to enhance commercial performance.Simulate and test RTM models to ensure feasibility and effectiveness.Maintain accurate customer masterdata to support route planning and reporting.Align with finance, HR, and sales teams to ensure consistent RTM execution.Continuously review RTM processes and drive improvements for efficiency.
Skills, Experience & Education
  • First Degree in business-related fields with a minimum of 3 years of experience in sales role in the FMCG industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of Route to Market process, customer engagement, and market dynamics.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and routing/logistic software, with a proven ability to analyze data, manage complex routing systems, and optimize logistical operations for improved efficiency.
Key SkillsExpertise in RTM model application and optimization.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Accuracy in managing customer masterdata.Effective cross-functional collaboration.
