- Identifies opportunities to submit winning proposals by gathering information through online connection, from existing clients, printed and social media platforms.
- Develops strategic plans for winning bids and coordinating timelines and resources to ensure successful delivery.
- Drafts, edits, and reviews bid documents to ensure clarity and compliance with client requirements.
- Prepares and reviews the commercial aspects of the bid, ensuring all products / services are included in the final price to the customer.
- Acts as the main point of contact for bid-related communications with internal and external stakeholders.
- Stays up to date on the latest industry trends and competitor activities to refine bidding strategies.
- Understands and addresses complex technical, strategic and business issues.
- Review and evaluate tender documents and identify key requirements.
- Develops strategies and plans to win tenders and secure contracts.
- Coordinates with various departments to collect necessary data for tender submissions.
- Maintains relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Monitors risk tracking and management throughout the bid process.
- Prepares the written proposal both in terms of content and presentation.
- Manages the bid budget and monitors and reports on overall performance against KPIs.
- Ensures timescales are achieved at each step of the bid process, including all internal governance, while taking the initiative in setting realistic deadlines.
- Ensures on-time submission of compliant and commercially sound bids.
- Coordinates and plans all client presentations required as part of the bid submission.
- Drives continuous improvement, through post-bid reviews, both internally and with customers.
- Leads bid lifecycle: Lead the entire bidding process or lifecycle from opportunity assessment through to the drafting, tender submissions and pitch presentations.
- Collects and analyses bid and tender feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
- Monitors and manages all ongoing and completed tenders to ensure compliance and success.
- Reprepares period reports (daily, weekly, monthly, sixth month and annual and submits to his/her immediate supervisor.
- Performs other similar activities as assigned by the General Manager.
- MA/MSC/MBA Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 12/14 years work experience out of within 7/9 direct work experience in Bid & Tender Management in construction or real estate sector.
