The Product Development Coordinator supports the execution of Komari's innovation pipeline by coordinating product development activities, integrating market research, and managing project timelines. This role ensures that new products are developed with consumer relevance, technical feasibility, and operational alignment. It requires close collaboration across R&D, marketing, production, and external partners to deliver high-quality, insight-driven innovations.Purpose of RoleTo enable fast, focused, and consumer-informed product development by coordinating cross-functional efforts, embedding market insights, and ensuring project milestones are met. The Product Development Coordinator plays a key role in translating strategic direction into delivery-ready products that reflect Komari's brand values and growth ambitions.Key Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesProduct Development Coordination
  • Support end-to-end product development from concept through commercialization
  • Document product briefs, specifications, and trial outcomes
  • Coordinate lab trials, sensory evaluations, and packaging development with internal teams and external partners
Market Research Integration
  • Conduct desk research, store checks, and consumer interviews to inform product concepts
  • Assist in designing and analysing consumer surveys and product tests
  • Track category trends and competitor activity to support strategic decision-making
Project Management
  • Maintain project trackers, timelines, and milestone dashboards
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings and ensure action items are followed up
  • Flag risks and delays early, and support resolution through stakeholder coordination
Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Liaise with marketing, production, and commercial teams to align product feasibility and launch planning
  • Ensure documentation is clear, complete, and accessible to all stakeholders
  • Support go/no-go decision processes with timely data and reporting
About YouQualifications and Experience Required– Bachelor's degree in food science, Marketing, Business, or related field– 2-4 years of experience in product development, market research, or project coordination– Strong organizational and communication skills– Experience with project tracking tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, Asana)– Passion for consumer-centric innovation and the beverage industry– Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple prioritiesMethod of Application
