- Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes-draft job postings, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and facilitate orientation.
- Maintain accurate employee files and HR documentation (e.g., contracts, leave records).
- Administer payroll and benefits in collaboration with Finance.
- Support performance management: assist in goal-setting, conduct evaluations, and help with improvement plans.
- Facilitate training and development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Provide guidance to employees on HR policies and foster positive workplace relations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree (HR, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field)
- Experience: 2+ years in HR or related administrative roles, preferably in import/distribution or similar industries.
- Solid understanding of Ethiopian labor laws and practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with HRIS is a plus.
- Strong ethical standards and confidentiality
